My Best Bit of Press Ever

A strange lady called me one day, rhapsodizing about
a song of mine which was playing on CBC radio.

Her name was Gale Garnett. (She has subsequently
edited her name to Gale Zoë Garnett and has
published some brilliant books.) She was once a
very famous and accomplished singer and songwriter
and Grammy Award winner.

She wanted to write about me in the Toronto Star.
I said, “Wellll, okay”.

And we got along like a house on fire.

Here’s the story she wrote. I’ll have to find some kind
soul or cheap typist to re-key it, but if you squint hard
you might actually be able to read it.

One word summary: gibberingly encomiastic.

Here it is:

Gush Gush
